“Exaggerate the essential, leave the obvious vague” – Vincent van Gogh.
To me there is no difference between a question from a private person or a company. For both, I start with getting the history, motives, vision and mission clear. This is the key to chasing dreams, setting goals and writing out plans. Just as in my work as a coach I often use ‘the dream question’. “What is the first thing you see, hear, feel when you wake up and notice that your dream has come to life? How dit you achieve that? And what does you client see, feel and think?”
“Exaggerate the essential, leave the obvious vague” – Vincent van Gogh. So focus on your potential – your zone of genius, identify and enlarge it. That’s it!
In a short period of time, we transform vague ideas into plans such as texts, images, photographs, stories, film, etc. And then the Brand Identity comes into play. What colour, font, shapes, images fit in with this?
In small steps we go through this proces and make a blueprint from with a person or company can draw for a long time. When they know the trick, they can apply and adjust it over and over again.
